Driver Team Lead — Saint-Hubert, QC

FedEx is looking for a courier team lead in Saint-Hubert, QC to help manage daily sorting, pickup and delivery activities and to guide hourly staff as a mentor on the ground. This is a full-time, interview-based position with a Monday to Friday schedule from 7:30 am to 4 pm.

What you'll do

• Oversee sector operations and daily sort and delivery/pickup activity, including remote domicile or feeder operations where applicable

• Act as a mentor to hourly employees, modeling strong communication, conflict resolution and leadership

• Coach, motivate and train coworkers on the job

• Prioritize and delegate tasks under time pressure

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent

• At least 1 to 2 years of current courier experience (requirement varies by listing)

• Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record (for Quebec: a licence such as class 5, G or 1[AZ], with no more than two violations or accidents in the past 24 months)

• Must complete and stay current on basic and recurrency training, including Dangerous Goods specialist certification, with yearly renewal

• Up to date on defensive driving and process training

• Working knowledge of FedEx products, services and general operations; familiarity with Canadian customs rules is an asset

• Able to lift up to 70 lbs and handle packages up to 150 lbs with the right equipment

• Strong interpersonal, customer service and communication skills

• Good analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills

• Comfortable working in a Windows environment and across varying shifts as needed

• Bilingual in French and English (Quebec positions)

• Candidates will be assessed on their driving record, interview performance and driving evaluation results
