Courrier Pick-Up and Delivery Driver — $25.00/hour

Our company is looking for a courier in Sept-Îles, QC to pick up and deliver packages on an assigned route, check shipments for compliance with service standards, and handle related customer service tasks. This is a full-time, in-person role and is treated as an interview position.

Pay

• $25.00 per hour

What you'll do

• Pick up and deliver packages along your assigned route

• Confirm that shipments meet Federal Express Canada's service requirements

• Handle customer service duties connected to your deliveries

• Work varying shifts and holidays depending on business needs

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Valid driver's license (for example Class 5, G, or 1/AZ) with a clean driving history, no more than two violations or accidents in the past 24 months

• Able to lift 70 lbs and move packages up to 150 lbs using proper equipment

• One year of customer-focused work experience is preferred

• Must pass the required pre-placement driver assessment and training

• Familiarity with our company Canada operations and Canadian customs rules is a plus

• Strong communication, interpersonal, time management and organizational skills

• Strong customer service skills, with the ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure

• If you're based in Quebec, you need to be bilingual in French and English

• Comfortable working in a Windows PC environment and keeping up with ongoing training and annual certifications
