About this job
Our company is hiring a courier in Ronkonkoma, NY to pick up and deliver packages using a company vehicle, with a schedule of Tuesday through Saturday, 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
Pay
- $24.21 to $35.96 per hour

What you'll do
- Drive and operate a company vehicle to pick up and drop off packages
- Check that shipments meet our company's service standards
- Handle related customer service tasks and other duties as needed
- Maintain a professional appearance, since you'll be interacting with customers
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid license for the type of vehicle you'll drive
- At least 21 years old
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs, and to move heavier packages with equipment or help from another person
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to read and speak English well enough to understand road signs, talk with traffic safety officials, and respond to official directions as required by FMCSA rules
- Meets the driver qualifications under section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations, including a required medical exam
- This is a non-covered safety-sensitive role, and you must be able to stay alert and work safely at all times
