About this job
Our company is hiring a Water Truck Driver to deliver potable water to homes and businesses across Whitehorse, Yukon. This is a permanent, full-time local role reporting to the General Manager.
Pay
- $35.00-$39.00 per hour
- $2000 signing bonus after one year of continuous employment
- Annual Safety Bonus of $2500 after one year of continuous employment
What you'll do
- Deliver water to residential and commercial customers
- Complete paperwork, movement documents, and new customer records
- Test and record water quality
- Provide good customer service and keep activity records
- Clean and maintain your vehicle and equipment
- Load and unload heavy items (up to 50 lbs)
- Handle light mechanical tasks like greasing and oil changes
- Help out other TTLPI divisions as needed
Requirements
- Valid Class 3 license with at least 5 years of experience
- Clean driver abstract
- Good customer service and communication skills
- Experience around large equipment
- Strong knowledge of Whitehorse and the surrounding area
- First Aid Certificate is a plus
