Class 1 Roamer Truck Driver — $98,912/Year + $5,000 Sign-On Bonus

Manitoulin Transport needs a Class 1 Full Roamer driver based out of the Whitehorse terminal. You'll fill in across the Northern Canada network wherever drivers are needed, running LCV linehaul routes.

What the job involves

• Driving Class 1 LCV linehaul routes across Northern Canada

• Picking up and delivering freight safely and on time

• Doing pre-trip and post-trip inspections and flagging any maintenance problems

• Keeping accurate electronic logs and staying compliant with hours-of-service and other transport rules

• Properly securing loads and checking paperwork before you head out

• Staying in touch with dispatch, customers and management on delivery status or issues

• Following all safety rules and company policy

• Planning routes and managing your time to hit delivery windows

Requirements

• Valid Class 1 license

• 2 years of experience preferred for LCV qualification, though the company will train qualified applicants

• Mountain qualification preferred; training available for the right candidate

• Good physical fitness

• Clean criminal record check

• Driver's abstract required
