Class 1 Fuel Driver — $39.75/hr + Safety Bonus, Whitehorse YT

Our company Ltd. needs a seasoned Class 1 fuel driver based out of Whitehorse, Yukon. You'll be hauling fuel through tough northern, winter and mountain terrain, spending extended stretches living and working out of your truck.

Pay

• $39.75 per hour, which includes a $2.50/hr safety bonus

• Expect to work 70.0 to 80.0 hours per week

Home time

• Rotations keep you on the road for about two months at a stretch, living in your truck, followed by roughly two weeks at home

What you'll haul

• Fuel, driven into demanding northern, winter and mountainous regions

Requirements

• Valid Class 1 license

• Valid FAST card required

• Able to cross into Alaska at the border

• Must pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screen

• At least 3 years of experience hauling fuel

• Comfortable with winter and mountain driving, including chaining up when needed

• Solid grasp of Hours of Service rules and able to stay compliant

• Able to work safely in harsh northern conditions

• Must supply and keep up all required personal protective equipment

• Committed to safe driving, following company and regulatory standards, and representing the company well with customers

• Strong communication skills and a professional, customer-focused attitude

• Self-motivated and able to work independently during long stretches away from home

• Pump experience isn't required but is a plus
