Class 3 Tilt Deck Truck Driver — $24–$27/hr

Our company and its division Greg's Tilt Deck Services are hiring a full-time tilt deck truck driver in Winnipeg. You will move machinery, equipment and other cargo around the city and across Manitoba, working mostly on your own.

Pay

• $24.00-$27.00 per hour, depending on your qualifications and experience

• Expected 35 to 50 hours per week

What you'll do

• Drive tilt deck trucks and, where your licence allows, other commercial vehicles

• Load, tie down, haul and unload equipment at construction sites, industrial facilities, equipment yards and customer locations

• Do pre-trip and post-trip inspections every day

• Stay in touch with dispatch and customers, and keep your truck clean and in good shape

Requirements

• Class 1 or Class 3 licence with an air brake endorsement

• A satisfactory driver's abstract and a safe driving record

• Knowing how to secure loads with chains, binders and straps

• Solid time management and customer communication

• Tilt deck or flatbed experience is preferred, but the company will train drivers who are willing to learn

• Experience with oversized cargo or hydraulics is an asset
