Seasonal Courier Driver — $23.28/hr

Our company is hiring a temporary pickup and delivery courier in Brandon, MB. The job runs up to 12 weeks, depending on business and operational needs, and the hiring process includes an interview.

Pay and schedule

• $23.28 an hour

• Seasonal temporary role of up to 12 weeks

• Monday to Saturday, with a 7:00 am start time

What you'll do

• Pick up and deliver packages on an assigned route, representing the company professionally

• Inspect your packages, report stop counts and missorts, and load your van

• Plan your route so deliveries and pickups run efficiently

• Check that shipments and labels meet service requirements and that paperwork is accurate

• Use computerized tracking and dispatch systems

• Answer customer questions and pass sales leads to the sales department

• Drive safely and follow all regulations and company procedures

• Sometimes help load or unload aircraft or containers, and sort and scan packages

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent

• No experience needed; 1 year in customer service is preferred

• Valid driver's licence (for example Class 5, G or 1 [AZ])

• No more than two violations and/or accidents in the past 24 months

• Candidates are assessed on their annual driving record, interview performance and driving assessment results
