About this job
NL Dairy Co-op is hiring a Commission Driver out of its Grand Falls, NL depot. You will deliver fresh local dairy products to customers on the South Coast of NL, Fogo Island and surrounding areas, reporting to the Distribution Supervisor.
About the company
- NL Dairy Co-op is owned by nineteen dairy farmers from across the province
- It recently bought Agropur Co-operative's Newfoundland and Labrador fluid milk processing and distribution business, including the Central Dairies brand
- The co-op processes and distributes 100% local milk
What you'll do
- Get the truck loaded with each day's deliveries
- Drive a commercial vehicle between locations on set routes, handling product safely
- Stock shelves and rotate product at customer stores
- Keep track of inventory on the truck and at retail locations
- Place product orders for customers when needed
- Give friendly service and help sort out routine delivery questions
- Follow all health and safety, quality and food safety rules
Requirements
- Valid Class 3 license with an airbrake endorsement
- Able to handle physically demanding work and flexible hours
- Able to make decisions on your own and build good relationships with customers and coworkers
- High school education at minimum
