Class 3 Appliance Delivery Driver — $58,000/yr Bilingual Role

A Montreal-based client is hiring a bilingual Class 3 driver to deliver and install household appliances as part of a two-person team. You'll handle everything from loading the truck to setting up the appliance in the customer's home, with a focus on careful, professional service.

Pay and schedule

• $58,000 per year, plus benefits.

• Full-time, working 3 days per week at roughly 13 hours per shift.

• Some Saturdays may be included, and the days worked can shift based on business needs (you'll get notice when possible).

What you'll haul

• You'll drive a 20-26 foot truck, delivering refrigerators, washers, dryers and other household appliances directly into customers' homes.

• The job covers full white-glove service: positioning units where customers want them, unboxing, clearing away packaging, leveling appliances, and hooking them up to existing power and water lines.

• You'll also handle add-on tasks like hauling away old units, flipping doors, and stacking laundry machines or pedestals.

• Expect to complete about 18-20 stops per day with your delivery partner, more during busy seasons.

What the job involves day to day

• Pre-trip vehicle checks and accurate paperwork for each run.

• Safely loading, securing and unloading appliances, including getting them up stairs and through tight doorways.

• Using dollies, straps, blankets and protective gear to move items without damage.

• Logging deliveries, snapping photos and completing proof-of-delivery on an Android handheld.

• Flagging any damaged, missing or defective goods, or property damage, right away.

• Keeping the truck clean and reporting any mechanical issues.

• Following safety rules around hazardous materials and appliance recycling.

• Hitting targets for on-time delivery, completed jobs, paperwork accuracy and customer satisfaction.

What you'll need

• Valid Class 3 licence with a clean record, and you'll need to provide a driver's abstract.

• At least 5 years behind the wheel of 20-26 foot trucks.

• At least 1 year delivering and installing appliances, ideally in a fast-paced setting.

• Residential or white-glove delivery background is a strong plus.

• Able to lift and maneuver heavy appliances and climb stairs throughout your shift.

• Comfortable partnering with a second driver on every run.

• Handy with smartphones and delivery apps.

• Understanding of safe lifting and handling practices.

• Fully bilingual in English and French, spoken and written.

• High school diploma.

• Good people skills, dependable, steady under pressure, and flexible with scheduling changes.

Working conditions

This is physical, on-the-road work: heavy lifting, climbing stairs, bending and maneuvering large items in different customers' homes throughout the day.
