About this job
G3 Transport hauls liquid chemical products, plastics, food-grade goods and other bulk commodities across Quebec, Ontario, the Maritimes, Newfoundland and Labrador, and the US. They're hiring a Class 1 tanker driver based in Valleyfield, QC for regional chemical liquid runs.
Route
- Regional runs covering Quebec, Ontario and the Maritimes
- Sleeping out 2-3 nights per week
Pay and bonuses
- New pay rates (amount not specified)
- Weekend bonus
- Quarterly safety bonus up to $1,500
- Referral bonus
- Sign-on bonus: $3,000 for drivers with chemical delivery experience, $1,500 without
What you'll haul
- Liquid chemical products in tanker trailers
- Loading/unloading at customer sites using a hose (up to 50 lbs), following strict safety procedures
Requirements
- Valid Class 1 license
- Minimum 2 years verifiable Class 1 driving experience
- Must be clean-shaven
- FM mention required
- Fast Card or TWIC Card an asset
- Tank experience an asset
- Clean driving record, verified via driver's abstract
- Courteous, professional and reliable
