Our company runs yard management and shunting services for warehouses and major retailers across North America, moving over 400,000 shipments a month. They're looking for a full-time Class 1 shunt driver to join their yard team in Sainte-Thérèse, QC.
What you'll do
- Move trailers between the loading area and the dock
- Perform pre-trip and routine checks on your vehicle
- Move loads safely and efficiently
- Follow company policies and safety rules
- Keep your truck clean
Requirements
- Valid Class 1 license
- Strong backing and parking skills with a trailer
- At least 1 year of trucking experience; shunting experience is a plus
- Clean driving abstract and criminal record check
- Commitment to safe work practices
