About this job
Our company is hiring Class 1 shunt drivers for full-time, direct-hire positions in Boucherville and Montreal, Quebec — no agency involved. Shifts run Monday to Friday, with pay starting at $27-$28 an hour in Boucherville and $23 an hour in Montreal, paid weekly by direct deposit.
Pay
- Boucherville QC: $27-$28/hr to start, with a $1/hr raise after 3 months
- Montreal QC: $23/hr to start (listed elsewhere as $23-$24/hr)
- Weekly direct deposit
Schedule
- Boucherville QC: Monday to Friday, 2:00pm to 10:00pm
- Montreal QC: Monday to Friday, 2:00pm to 11:00pm
What you'll do
- Drive a shunt truck around the yard
- Complete pre-trip vehicle inspections
- Move loads safely and efficiently
- Keep the truck clean and follow company policies
- Stay in regular contact with dispatch
Requirements
- Prior shunt driving experience
- Valid Class 1 license, at least 1 year of experience
- Clean SAAQ driving record and a passed background check
- Strong backing-up skills
