Class 1 Local Truck Driver — Home Nightly, Up to $28.50/hr

Our company is looking for a Class 1 driver to run local dock-to-dock delivery routes out of Terrebonne, QC. You'll be home every night, with pay up to $28.50/hour and a strong benefits package from a company with over 100 years in Canadian transportation.

Pay

• Up to $28.50/hour

Home time

• Local routes only — you return home at the end of every shift

Schedule

• Full-time

• Day shift: Monday to Saturday (5 days/week), early morning start

• Evening shift: Monday to Friday, early afternoon start

• Shifts run 8-10 hours

• Some waiting time during pickup on the evening shift

• May need to work weekends when required

What you'll haul

• Dock-to-dock deliveries to retail and grocery stores across Greater Montreal and nearby areas

• Reefer or dry van freight, including unloading pallets with an electric pallet jack

• Tight backing maneuvers into narrow loading docks required

Requirements

• Valid Class 1 license with at least 6 months of driving experience

• Comfortable driving in both city and highway conditions, including tight parking areas

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs (23 kg) on a regular basis

• Clean driving record and must pass a background check
