About this job
Our company is looking for a Class 1 Shuttle Driver to move production materials between its plant and branch locations in the Montreal area. This is a local shuttle route with a company vehicle.
What you'll do
- Transport product between branch and plant locations according to schedule
- Load and unload the vehicle and select the right product for the day
- Keep the shuttle vehicle and work area clean, inside and out
- Maintain travel and cargo logs as required by regulations
- Check fluid and tire levels, complete daily safety inspections and report maintenance issues
- Drive safely and follow all company and traffic rules
Requirements
- Valid Class 1 Commercial Driver's License
- Shuttle and transport truck driving experience
- High school education and equivalent experience
- Must pass a background check, MVR check and pre-employment physical
- Verbal communication skills for working with the team
