Class 1 Local Owner Operator — $59.00/hr Avg. Incl. Fuel Program

Our company in Pointe-aux-Trembles, QC is looking for an incorporated Class 1 owner operator to haul customer freight safely and on schedule. The company has operated across Canada since 1941 and offers a strong fuel program plus steady, growing volumes of work.

Pay

• Average earnings of $59.00 per hour, including the fuel program

• Fuel price capped at 42.5 cents/litre regardless of market changes, with a fuel card provided and on-site fueling at major locations

• Paid every week by direct deposit

• Annual profit-sharing program

• Purchase orders available to cover equipment repairs

What you'll haul

You'll drive a tractor-trailer to move customer goods, which may include hazardous or dangerous products. You'll plan your trip and documentation, inspect your vehicle and equipment before, during and after each run, secure your load to safety standards, and keep accurate records of cargo, hours, distance and fuel use. You'll also handle bills of lading, keep electronic logs current, and stay in touch with dispatch, other drivers and customers through onboard communication tools.

Requirements

• Valid Class 1 license with the necessary endorsements

• Your business must be incorporated

• At least 2 years of verifiable Class 1 driving experience

• Clean CVOR and driver's abstract, with no major incidents

• A professional, positive approach to the job

• White trucks are preferred, and a deer bumper is a plus

• Driver's abstract, CVOR report and criminal record check must all be dated within the last 30 days
