Class 1 Flatbed Truck Driver — Home Every Night

Transport Bourassa needs Class 1 long-haul drivers for its local operations team, running flatbed or container freight out of the Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu terminal. You'll head out and come back to the terminal each shift and sleep in your own bed every night.

Schedule

• Permanent, full-time role, Monday to Friday

• At least 55 hours per week

• Day shift

What you'll do

• Pick up and deliver goods at various customer sites

• Help load and unload with a pallet jack when needed

• Secure loads with straps and logistic bars

• Check that deliveries match orders and inspect the freight's condition

• Track delivery details on a mobile device

• Do pre-trip and post-trip truck inspections and report any problems

Requirements

• Valid Class 1 licence with T endorsement

• Experience running flatbed or container equipment

• Familiarity with the local area is a plus

• Solid physical stamina

• Comfortable working independently and staying organized
