Class 1 Flatbed Truck Driver — Cross-Border Pacific Northwest Routes

Our company, based in Penticton, BC, needs an experienced Class 1 driver to run sleeper tractor-trailer routes across BC, AB, WA and OR, with trips into the US. You'll handle flat deck and van freight, including loading, securing, tarping and unloading, often in mountain and winter conditions.

Pay

• $60,000 to $120,000 per year

Home time

• Flexible dispatch with strong home-time scheduling

• Full-time, minimum 5 days a week, shifts vary with workload

What you'll haul

• Flat deck and van trailers across the Pacific Northwest (BC, AB, WA, OR)

• Cross-border US trips as operations require

Requirements

• Valid Class 1 license with air brake endorsement

• At least 2 years of commercial driving experience, including winter conditions

• Clean abstract: no more than 6 points in the last 5 years

• Valid passport and eligibility to work in the US; must be able to get a FAST card if you don't already have one

• Strong spoken and written English

• Able to lift at least 50 lbs and handle physical tasks like strapping, tarping and chaining up

• Comfortable with logbooks, electronic logs and HOS rules

• Must live in the Okanagan or Vancouver area

• Subject to a six-month probation period and company drug and alcohol policy
