Class 1 Driver — $27.98/hr + $2,250 Signing Bonus

Our company is looking for Class 1 Drivers to join its Montreal Terminal on day shifts, handling pick-up and delivery runs for this long-running LTL carrier.

Pay

• $27.98 per hour

• $2,250 signing bonus

• Overtime kicks in after 9 hours worked

Schedule

• Day shift, full-time, permanent position

What you'll be doing

• Picking up and delivering freight

• Checking your truck daily and running safety inspections

• Flagging dispatch when equipment needs repair

• Following proper safe-driving practices

• Forklift and dock experience is a plus

Equipment

• Fleet includes both manual and automatic trucks

• Uniforms and safety gear provided

• Newer onboard technology in the trucks

Requirements

• Valid Class 1 license

• 1-2 years of trucking experience

• At least 1 year driving manual transmission

• Must pass a health exam, drug screen and background check

• Must meet Transport Canada's driver qualification rules

• Clean driver's abstract / CVOR

• Valid Canadian work permit

• Drivers are hired as employees on company payroll only, not under incorporation
