About this job
Our company is hiring two experienced drivers to run full truckload freight between Canada and the US East Coast. Pay is calculated per mile or per trip, and you'll have your own assigned truck.
Pay
- $90,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
- Compensation structured as per-mile or per-trip rates
- Paid weekly
Home time
- Back home every second day

What you'll haul
- Full truckload shipments running primarily to the US East Coast
- Cross-border runs between Canada and the United States
Requirements
- Class 1 license, required
- At least 3 years of verifiable driving experience
- Fluent in English
- Must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening
- Clean Class 1 driving abstract and criminal record check
- Canadian citizen or permanent resident, able to cross into the US
- Valid passport or FAST card is a plus
- Strong communication skills, a professional, safety-first mindset
On the job
- Pick up and deliver loads on schedule
- Complete daily pre-trip inspections and equipment safety checks
- Keep your truck maintained and report any damage or mechanical issues
- Secure cargo properly to meet safety standards
- Handle bills of lading and keep logbooks, whether paper or electronic
- Stay current on industry practices and driving regulations
