CDL Truck Driver — Work-Site Material Hauling

Our company is looking for a CDL truck driver in Santa Teresa, NM to move materials to, from and around job sites. You'll handle medium to large trucks on both private roads and public highways, with hands-on loading and securing of cargo.

What you'll do

• Drive medium to large trucks between company job sites, using private roads and public highways

• Load and unload materials, sometimes using equipment like forklifts

• Secure loads with rope, blocks or covers

• Get proper paperwork in order before each haul

• Confirm delivery instructions and routes before heading out

• Check your vehicle before and after each trip, and report any damage or needed repairs

• Handle basic upkeep like topping off oil, fuel or other fluids

• Keep accurate logs of hours worked and vehicle maintenance per state and federal rules

Requirements

• Commercial driver's license (CDL)

• Intermediate-level experience in this type of work

• High school diploma or equivalent may be required, along with relevant field experience

• Solid working knowledge of the job's tools and tasks

• Strong communication skills, able to follow and relay instructions clearly

• Comfortable and safe using hand, power and layout tools

• Must bring your own required tools

• Able to meet all physical demands of the role, including climbing and working at heights or in tight spaces (sometimes over 200 ft)

• Willing to work outdoors in any weather

• Available for overtime, nights and weekends depending on workload

• Follows all safety and project guidelines and takes on other duties as needed
