Our company is looking for a truck driver to haul aggregate and related materials in Ackerly, TX. You'll move loads between plants, job sites and distribution points, keeping your equipment road-ready and your paperwork in order.

What you'll haul
- Raw materials and finished goods moving between plants, retail stops and distribution centers
- Loads to and from job sites as part of day-to-day transportation runs
What the job involves
- Pre-trip and post-trip inspections, catching mechanical or safety issues and doing basic upkeep
- Staying within weight, size, route and parking restrictions, plus hours-of-service rules and company policy
- Maneuvering the truck for loading and unloading, including backing into position
- Reviewing shipping paperwork and instructions before and after each delivery
- Reporting any equipment trouble, accidents or rule violations right away
Requirements
- Professional truck driving experience
- Familiarity with onboard tools such as GPS, AVL and CB radios
- Ready for long shifts and frequent time on the road
- Good grasp of trucking laws and regulations
- A clean driving history with no recent violations
- Able to stay sharp and adjust to shifting road, traffic and weather conditions
- Valid driver's license for the truck you'll be operating
