CDL Truck Driver — $26.23–$31.59/hr

This role has you behind the wheel of commercial trucks, handling both local runs and longer over-the-road trips. You'll be responsible for getting freight — and sometimes vehicles — to their destination safely and on schedule.

Pay

• $26.23 - $31.59 per hour

• Scheduled hours range from about 21 to 33 per week

What you'll haul

• Tractor-trailers, with equipment that may include refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or car-hauling setups

• General freight and, at times, automobiles

Responsibilities

• Plan routes using GPS and inspect your vehicle and cargo before heading out

• Load, unload, and secure cargo using safe handling methods

• Keep communication open about delivery status and road conditions

• Follow DOT, FMCSA, and applicable hazmat/dangerous goods rules

Requirements

• Valid commercial driver's license matching the vehicles and routes you're assigned

• Proven experience driving commercial trucks; delivery driving background is a plus

• Comfortable driving manual transmission when needed, and using GPS for navigation

• Understanding of proper cargo loading, unloading, and securement

• Hazmat qualifications are a plus, as is experience with refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or auto transport
