CDL Truck Driver — $25–$28/hr

Our company in Aztec, NM is looking for a CDL truck driver to handle freight deliveries, including hazmat and specialized loads, using a range of commercial trucks such as F550s, flatbeds, tankers and refrigerated trailers.

What you'll do

• Drive various commercial trucks safely, following DOT and FMCSA rules

• Plan routes with GPS to keep deliveries on time, including over-the-road runs

• Load and unload freight by hand or with equipment like forklifts, including hazardous materials

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections

• Keep accurate paperwork, including bills of lading, manifests and logs

• Stay in contact with dispatch about schedules, route changes or delays

Requirements

• Valid CDL with endorsements such as Hazmat preferred

• Solid background as a commercial driver, including OTR experience

• Comfortable with manual transmission trucks

• Experience loading and unloading freight, including hazardous materials

• Familiarity with flatbeds, tankers, refrigerated trailers, dump trucks or roll-offs is a plus

• Working knowledge of FMCSA, DOT and hazmat safety regulations

Pay

$25.00 - $28.00 per hour, with expected hours of 40.0 to 60.0 per week.
