CDL Pump Truck Driver

Our company, a midstream logistics company serving the energy industry since 2009, needs a CDL driver for pump truck work out of Hobson, TX. You'll haul loads in a vehicle with a GVW over 26,000 lbs, working independently on set routes.

What you'll do

• Operate your assigned vehicle safely and know it inside and out

• Secure cargo properly to avoid damage or injury

• Follow your planned route and deliver on time

• Get delivery signatures and verify each load against its manifest

• Help plan driving routes and stay in touch with dispatch

• Inspect your vehicle before and after every trip, and keep it clean

• Handle basic upkeep like refueling, checking fluids and tire pressure, and reporting bigger repair or delivery problems to management

• Keep accurate logs of your driving, deliveries and hours worked

• Follow traffic laws, adjust for weather and road conditions, and stay compliant with ICC and DOT rules

Requirements

• Valid CDL

• Clean driving record, no moving violations

• 2+ years of commercial driving experience preferred

• High school diploma or GED preferred

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs

• Must pass a background check and drug screening

• Strong sense of direction, self-motivated, and comfortable working solo
