Gordey Transportation in Phenix City, AL is looking for an OTR truck driver to haul freight across multiple states. You'll run various equipment, including tractor-trailers, reefers, flatbeds and tankers, while keeping deliveries on time and in compliance with safety rules.
Pay
- From $2,501.98 per week
What you'll haul
- Refrigerated goods, hazardous materials, flatbed loads or tanker shipments, depending on the load
- Freight handled manually or with a forklift, secured properly for the road
Schedule
- Long-distance, multi-state routes with overnight stays and extended time away from home
- Hours managed according to hours-of-service rules
Requirements
- Valid CDL with endorsements matching the equipment you'll drive (such as Hazmat, if needed)
- Solid experience driving commercial trucks or hauling freight
- Comfortable with manual transmission trucks and GPS navigation
- Clean driving record and safe manual handling skills
- Experience with reefers, flatbeds, tankers or auto-hauling is a plus
- Working knowledge of DOT and FMCSA rules, plus hazmat safety protocols
- Able to complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and keep accurate logs and shipment paperwork
