Our company in Edinburg, TX is looking for an experienced over-the-road truck driver to haul freight across long-distance routes. Spanish is spoken on the team.
Pay
- $1,500.00 - $2,500.00 per week
What you'll haul
- Tractor-trailers and refrigerated trailers on OTR routes
- Automobile or other specialized cargo, properly secured and documented
- General logistics freight requiring careful manual loading and unloading
What the job involves
- Plan and follow routes using GPS navigation while hitting scheduled delivery times
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections to keep the truck road-ready and compliant
- Keep accurate logs of hours driven, deliveries and required compliance paperwork
- Follow FMCSA and DOT safety rules at all times
Requirements
- At least 2 years of commercial driving experience
- Valid CDL; Hazmat or tanker endorsements preferred
- Comfortable with manual transmission trucks and hands-on freight handling
- Familiar with refrigerated trailer operation and hazardous materials rules
- Clean driving record, with OTR experience a strong plus
