CDL OTR Truck Driver — $1,200–$2,000/Week

Our company is hiring a CDL driver for over-the-road freight hauling out of Houston, TX. You'll move a mix of trailer types and cargo while staying on top of safety and paperwork requirements.

Pay

• $1,200.00 - $2,000.00 per week

What you'll haul

• Long-distance OTR routes

• Mixed freight including refrigerated loads, flatbed and tanker equipment, hazardous materials, and specialty cargo like vehicle transport

• Some loads require manual loading/unloading or specialized handling

What you'll do

• Run tractor-trailers and other commercial equipment on long-haul routes

• Load and unload freight safely, including jobs that need manual effort or special gear

• Plan routes with GPS tools while staying compliant with DOT and FMCSA rules

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks

• Keep accurate hours-of-service logs, delivery paperwork, and cargo records

• Stay in touch with dispatch and customers to keep deliveries on track and resolve issues

Requirements

• Valid CDL with endorsements matching the equipment you'll run (such as hazmat or tanker)

• Solid background in commercial driving, including route and delivery work

• Know-how in freight loading, unloading, and securing cargo

• Comfortable using GPS and planning efficient routes

• Able to drive manual transmission trucks and manage physical loading tasks

• Working knowledge of FMCSA, DOT, and hazmat safety rules

• Experience with reefers, flatbeds, tankers or other specialized trailers is a plus

• Clean driving record and strong safety habits
