CDL-B Regional Delivery Driver — $19.00/hr Plus Warehouse Duties

Our company in Lowell, AR is hiring a CDL-B driver to handle regional deliveries of marble and granite and help out in the warehouse between runs. You'll need a clean driving record and at least 1 year of commercial driving experience to be considered.

Pay

• $19.00 per hour

What you'll haul

• Marble and granite products delivered to customers in the surrounding region

Schedule

• Standard hours follow the company's Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm operation, with you ready to start your route by 8:00am

• Occasional extended hours may be needed to keep deliveries on schedule, always within D.O.T. limits

What you'll do

• Load your truck right after receiving each order and head out promptly

• Call customers at least an hour ahead of arrival so they're ready to unload, no matter the distance

• Drive the company vehicle safely and courteously, keeping it clean inside and out

• Check loads for cracks, chips, fissures, or core holes before and after transport, noting any issues on the bill of lading

• Secure cargo and verify hardware is sound before every trip

• Collect payments listed on the bill of lading and complete all delivery paperwork for the company

• Turn in weekly time sheets and expense reports

• Keep up with vehicle inspections, maintenance, and D.O.T.-required license and physical renewals

• Pitch in on loading, unloading, and other warehouse tasks when you're not out on deliveries, as directed by the warehouse manager

Requirements

• CDL-B license

• At least 1 year of commercial driving experience

• Clean driving record (a must - do not apply without one)

• Comfortable working outdoors full-time

• Reliable, motivated, and professional with customers
