CDL-B Propane Delivery Driver — X Endorsement Required

Our company in Las Cruces, NM is looking for a propane delivery driver to serve customers while keeping safety and service standards high. You'll run your own route, handle fuel transfers and build strong customer relationships along the way.

What you'll do

• Deliver propane to customers, inspect tanks and cylinders, and fill storage containers following proper loading and unloading steps

• Work with dispatch to confirm your route and make sure you have enough fuel for the day

• Complete pre- and post-trip vehicle checks, flag any maintenance issues, and keep the truck in safe operating condition

• Hit daily performance targets like gallons delivered, stops made and miles driven

• Represent the company professionally, aiming for zero customer complaints and strong service

• Spot sales opportunities, watch competitor accounts and upsell where you can

• Track inventory and funds, use a handheld terminal, and log trip details including meter and odometer readings

• Refuel and secure the truck at the end of your shift per company security rules

• Work mostly on your own, using judgment to handle unexpected issues, with backup from your manager when needed

Safety expectations

• Follow all company and government safety and regulatory rules, aiming for zero preventable accidents

• Use safe fuel-handling methods and follow proper procedures if a spill or overfill happens, taking immediate action to contain it and reporting any environmental incident to your supervisor

• Keep accurate safety and compliance records

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience

• CDL Class B with X endorsement, plus any other state and federal licensing required

• Must complete our company's New Hire driver training along with NORA and NPGA CETP program requirements

• Five or more years of related management experience in the fuel industry, with knowledge of relevant regulations

• Understanding of how to run a profitable, growing fuel distribution and service operation; basic knowledge of oil and gas appliances and distribution systems helpful (training provided)
