Our company is hiring a CDL Driver to operate school buses, transit buses, and passenger vans in Rochester, NY. You'll provide safe, reliable transportation for students and other passengers, earning $30 an hour.
Pay
- $30.00 per hour
What you'll drive
- School buses, small transit buses, and 14-passenger vans
Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial passenger vehicles following traffic laws
- Transport children, seniors, and people with disabilities
- Assist passengers with wheelchair boarding and disembarking
- Perform pre-trip inspections and report maintenance issues
- Keep accurate logs of trips and safety checks
- Handle student discipline and respond to emergencies as needed
Requirements
- Valid CDL Class B and/or C with S endorsement
- Experience driving buses or similar vehicles preferred
- First aid and CPR certification
- Strong English communication skills; multilingual a plus
- Knowledge of traffic laws and emergency response procedures
