CDL-B Local Delivery Driver — $27–$30/hr, Home Daily

Our company is hiring a local CDL-B delivery driver in Binghamton, NY to haul compressed and liquid gas cylinders and hard goods on set routes, working first shift Monday through Friday.

Pay

• $27 to $30.00 per hour

• Gain Share Bonus paid quarterly

• Driver Safety Bonus paid quarterly

Schedule

• Monday through Friday, first shift

What you'll haul

• Compressed and liquid gas cylinders, plus hard goods, delivered along assigned local routes

• Pick up empty cylinders from customers and handle all loading and unloading

• Run forklifts and other warehouse equipment as needed

What the job involves

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and log any vehicle issues

• Keep accurate records of deliveries and get customer signatures

• Handle customer questions and represent the company professionally on every stop

• Follow all hazmat safety rules at all times

Requirements

• At least 21 years old

• Valid Class B or higher CDL with a HAZMAT endorsement

• At least 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience in the past 5 years

• Must pass our company background check, motor vehicle record review, and DOT Clearinghouse verification

• Able to lift 25-75 lbs regularly and occasionally up to and over 100 lbs

• Comfortable working outside in all weather

• Must follow a drug-free workplace policy and all safety rules

• Preferred: high school diploma or equivalent, forklift experience, touch freight delivery background
