CDL-B Delivery Driver — $22/hr

Our company in Springfield, MO is looking for a CDL-B driver to handle local and regional food deliveries. You'll work Tuesday through Saturday with early starts, and shifts typically run around 12 hours with varying end times.

Pay

• $22 per hour

What you'll haul

• Food and food-related products delivered to restaurants, hotels, healthcare facilities, schools and other customers

• You'll drive a tractor-trailer or straight truck on local, over-the-road, shuttle, and drive-and-drop routes

Responsibilities

• Complete pre- and post-trip inspections per DOT rules

• Check loaded freight and count/verify items against invoices

• Deliver orders on your assigned route and unload into customer storage areas

• Collect signatures and, when required, payment

• Handle customer returns and damaged goods paperwork

• Keep accurate hours-of-service logs and required documentation

Requirements

• At least 6 months of commercial driving experience

• High school diploma or GED (or state equivalent)

• Valid CDL B with airbrakes endorsement

• Must be 21 years old

• Clean driving record for the last 3 years

• Pass a post-offer drug screen, background check and road test

• Valid DOT health card (or able to obtain one)

• Able to lift and move product cases, generally 10-35 lbs and sometimes up to 60-90 lbs, using hand trucks and lift gates
