Truck Driver — $1,800–$2,100/week

Our company is hiring a truck driver in Kansas City, MO. You will move freight in commercial trucks and tractor-trailers on local or over-the-road routes, with weekly pay of $1,800.00 - $2,100.00.

Pay

• $1,800.00 - $2,100.00 per week

What you'll do

• Drive commercial vehicles, manual transmissions included, following DOT and FMCSA regulations

• Use GPS to follow your assigned routes, keep an eye on road and weather conditions, and let dispatch know about delivery updates or delays

• Load and unload freight, secure it, and handle it by hand when needed

• Haul general freight; hazardous materials and dangerous goods only if you are assigned and qualified

• Check your truck and equipment, report any defects, and keep your driving and delivery records current

What you'll haul

• Loads may go in refrigerated trailers, on flatbeds, in tankers, or involve automobile transport

Requirements

• A valid commercial driver's license with the qualifications for your assigned vehicle and cargo

• Safe commercial driving experience; delivery and OTR experience count in your favor

• Comfortable driving a tractor-trailer with a manual transmission and using GPS

• Able to load, unload, secure and manually handle freight safely

• Familiarity with DOT and FMCSA rules; hazmat knowledge and experience with reefers, flatbeds, tankers or auto transport are preferred where relevant
