About this job

Our company LLC, working with MTE-Leasing, is offering a lease-purchase opportunity for experienced CDL-A drivers who want to run their own truck under an 80/20 gross revenue split. You'll haul no-touch dry van freight across the lower 48 states with no forced dispatch, choosing your own loads and home time.

Pay

You keep 80% of gross revenue, with weekly gross averaging around $6,500. Extra weekly bonuses are available based on loaded miles: $100 at 2,100 miles, up to $350 at 2,800 miles or more. A $500 sign-on bonus pays out after your first 9,000 miles. Weekly pay comes by direct deposit, and advances up to $200 a week are available.

Home time

There's no forced dispatch, so you control how often you get home and which loads you take.

What you'll haul

All freight is dry van, no-touch (with optional driver-assist loads), and about 70% is drop and hook. No hazmat, and no runs into Canada or Mexico. Freight comes from a steady customer base (70%) plus brokered loads across the lower 48 states.

Lease details

Trucks are 2023 or newer Freightliner Cascadia or Kenworth T680 models, covered by remaining factory warranty plus a 7-day trial period. You'll need $5,000 down (a loan option is available at $300/week), with weekly lease payments ranging from $750 for a 2023 model (3-year lease) to $950 for a 2025 model (4-year lease). There's no credit check and no interest charged on the lease amount, though a $15,000 balloon/residual payment is due at the end. As a 1099 contractor, you're responsible for your plate and registration, fuel card, physical insurance, highway 2290/IRP, and IFTA reporting.

Requirements

You need at least 3 months of recent, verifiable CDL-A tractor-trailer experience pulling 48-53 foot trailers, a valid CDL, and a current DOT medical card. Applicants must live in one of the approved hiring states. SAP applicants are considered if they've completed Step 5 of the Return-to-Duty process (a C/TPA may be used to complete this step).

Benefits

Riders and one pet dog are allowed. Fuel and maintenance discounts are offered, though they vary by location. This is a 1099 position, so there are no company-provided benefits, but you can purchase additional coverage at your own cost.

The hiring carrier's name is shared with you once you apply through the DriverRoll app, where you can message them directly.
