About this job
This is a full-time local package delivery job based out of St. Peters, Missouri. You drive a company-provided vehicle, handle pickups and drop-offs for local customers, and work mostly on your own. No CDL is needed.
Pay
- $180 to $230 per day, paid weekly.
- Training lasts 2 to 4 weeks depending on your skill level and pays $160 per day.
- Bonuses: $75 each month for an accident-free record, $75 each month for hitting service targets, and $300 when someone you refer stays 90 days.
Schedule
- 5 days a week in a 7-day operation, with some flexibility in scheduling.
- Paid time off and sick leave, with paid holidays after 1 year of service.
What you'll do
- Drive the company vehicle safely and keep it clean, inspecting it regularly.
- Pick up, scan, load and deliver packages on time and in good condition.
- Follow efficient routes and obey traffic and safety rules.
- Check packages for accuracy and keep delivery records.
- Keep dispatch informed about delays or route issues, and report any breakdowns, accidents or violations right away.
- Treat customers courteously and represent the company well.
Requirements
- At least 21 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Class E license and a clean driving record.
- Able to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Able to lift packages up to 150 lbs.
- Good grasp of traffic laws, plus solid time management and communication skills.
- Courier or delivery experience is a plus. Veterans are encouraged to apply.
