CDL-B/C School Bus Driver — From $24.00/hr

Our company needs a School Bus Driver to run routes for New York City Department of Education schools, all located within NYC. You'll work with kids every day while keeping safety front and center.

Pay

• Starts from $24.00 per hour

What you'll do

• Drive school buses safely, following all traffic laws and safety rules

• Get students to and from school

• Check the vehicle before and after each trip, covering mechanical parts and safety gear

• Keep in clear contact with students, parents, school staff, and coworkers

• Log routes, schedules, incidents, and vehicle maintenance

Requirements

• Valid CDL B or C with school bus and passenger endorsements

• At least 21 years old

• Bus or other commercial driving experience is a plus

• Strong communication skills; speaking more than one language is a big advantage given the diverse communities served

• Comfortable working with kids and handling behavior issues

• Clean driving record with a strong safety focus

• Able to pass required background checks, drug tests, and physical exams
