CDL-A Yard Truck Driver — Home Daily, $28/hr

Our company is looking for a CDL-A driver to handle yard spotting work in Niagara Falls, NY. This is a local, home-daily position working with yard trucks and day cabs, moving dry van trailers with no-touch freight.

Pay

• $28.00 per hour, paid weekly

• Average weekly earnings around $1,236

• 36 to 48 hours per week

• Retention bonus: $1,000 per year for years 2-4, then $2,000 per year for years 5-9

• Paid training included

Schedule

• Works Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and every other Wednesday

• Shift runs from 5:00 PM to 5:00 AM

What you'll haul

• Yard truck and day cab equipment, with our company providing training on everything you need

• 48' and 53' dry van trailers

• No-touch freight, focused on yard moves

• Trucks are 36 months old or newer, backed by 24/7 roadside support and fueling at more than 800 locations nationwide

Requirements

• At least 21 years old

• Able to pass our company's drug test, background check, motor vehicle check, and DOT physical

• Able to pass a our company road test

• Hold a valid Class A CDL with the right endorsements

• Verifiable tractor-trailer experience: 9 months in the last 3 years, OR 2 years in the last 5 years, OR 5 years in the last 10 years

• Able to follow written and verbal instructions and apply relevant rules and regulations

• Some assignments may require added background checks, employment/education verification, or customer-specific badging

What you'll do

• Safely move and position tractor trailers around the yard and on nearby public roads

• Follow DOT and safety rules, complete ongoing training, and support customer needs

• Keep accurate logs and inventory records of yard moves

• Watch for and address safety hazards, plus other assigned duties
