About this job
This is a local Class A CDL yard truck driving job based in Madison, AL, with no touch freight and a consistent Monday-Friday schedule. You'll be home daily.
Pay
- $1,400 - $1,600 per week
- Hourly pay plus overtime after 40 hours
- Annual pay raises
- Paid weekly
Schedule
- Home daily, local routes
- Monday - Friday, with minimal weekend work (about 1-2 Saturdays per month)
- 1st and 2nd shift openings
- 9-11 hours per day, 45-55 hours per week
- Full-time, long-term position
What you'll do
- Operate a tractor-trailer to move goods to designated locations
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance
- Follow set routes for deliveries
- Coordinate with dispatch on delivery schedules
Requirements
- At least 6 months of Class A tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years
- No more than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years
- No more than 1 preventable DOT recordable accident in the last 3 years
- No previous DOT drug or alcohol violations
