CDL-A Yard Driver — Home Daily, $24.50/hr

Our company is hiring a Yard Driver in Dayton, NJ 08810 to shuttle trailers within a single yard location. You won't deal with highway miles, multiple stops, or customer deliveries, just steady, repeatable work in a controlled setting.

What the job looks like

• You work from one site for your whole shift, with no over-the-road driving

• Your tasks involve repositioning trailers and handling drop and hook moves between dock doors

• No freight handling is required

• Your schedule and workload stay consistent day to day

Pay

• Starting pay is $24.50 per hour

• Overtime kicks in after 40 hours

• You're paid weekly

• Referral bonus up to $2,000 is available

Home time

You're home every day, with a schedule you can count on.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL

• Current DOT medical card

• Clean driving history

• Prior experience handling tractor-trailers

• Comfortable working outdoors in any weather

• Able to climb in and out of the truck repeatedly during your shift

Daily duties also include pre-trip and post-trip inspections, staying in contact with dispatch and yard staff, and keeping your logs and paperwork accurate.
