CDL-A Waste Transport Driver — Tanker/Haz-Mat Preferred

Our company in Cabot, AR is looking for a CDL-A driver to haul waste materials to and from job sites using company trucks and trailers. You'll handle loading, securing and unloading waste, keep accurate delivery and pickup paperwork, and log your travel hours per DOT rules.

What you'll do

• Operate and position heavy trucks, trailers and related equipment

• Load, secure and unload waste following safety and security standards

• Complete pre-trip, in-trip and post-trip equipment checks and basic maintenance

• Decontaminate equipment that's been exposed to hazardous or toxic materials

• Keep driver logs, field tickets and inspection records up to date

• Follow company and OSHA safety procedures at all times

• Take part in staff meetings and complete required annual medical monitoring

Requirements

• Valid state driver's license with Class A CDL endorsement

• Clean driving record with no violations in the past 3 years

• Tanker and Haz-Mat endorsements preferred

• HAZWOPER certification preferred

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills, and comfort with basic computer tools like Word and Excel

Work conditions

This is a full-time, on-call role (24/7 availability) with overtime eligibility. Expect physically demanding work, including standing, bending, kneeling and climbing throughout the day, lifting up to 75 pounds occasionally, and exposure to extreme temperatures, hazardous conditions and confined spaces. Most travel is local during the day, but some overnight and out-of-area trips should be expected.
