CDL-A Truck Driver — Home Daily, Average $91,000/Year

Penske Logistics is looking for full-time Class A CDL drivers to run daily routes out of Jersey City, NJ, delivering palletized goods to retail pharmacy locations. You'll be home every night, working Monday through Friday with an optional sixth day when your hours allow.

Pay

• Average annual pay of $91000

• Annual safety bonus of up to $2000

• Referral bonus of up to $5000 for each driver you bring on board

• Paid every Friday

Home time

• Home daily, Monday through Friday

• Dispatch runs between 12:00 PM and 10:00 PM, with your choice of starting in the 12:00 PM-5:00 PM window or the 5:00 PM-10:00 PM window

• A sixth day is available if your DOT hours allow

What you'll haul

• Palletized freight headed to major retail pharmacy stores across all five NYC boroughs, the Hamptons, and North Jersey

• You'll handle the freight yourself at each stop using pallet jacks and liftgates

• Drive late-model Penske trucks built for comfort, fitted with inward- and outward-facing cameras for safety

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL, with a U.S. home base and license in your state of residence

• Non-excepted interstate DOT medical card, current or obtainable

• At least 1 year of tractor-trailer experience in the past 3 years, or 2 years in the past 5 years

• No more than two moving violations or accidents on your 3-year DMV/MVR record

• Experience driving in city traffic

• Able to pass a background check and drug screening, and complete a Penske application

• English language proficiency, per DOT rule 49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2)

• Able to regularly lift up to 50 lbs and occasionally up to 100 lbs, move in and out of the cab and cargo area, and stay alert throughout your shift
