CDL-A Truck Driver — Home Daily, Average $88,000/Year

Penske Logistics is looking for a full-time CDL-A truck driver in Lumberton, NJ to run daily delivery routes to retail pharmacy locations, with some stops in New York. You'll be home every day on a Monday through Friday schedule.

Pay

• Average annual pay of $88,000

• Referral bonus program worth up to $5,000 per referral

Schedule

• Monday through Friday

• Dispatch between midnight and 6:00 AM

• Home daily

What you'll haul

• Palletized freight delivered to major retail pharmacy stores in the area and in New York

• You'll unload and move freight yourself using pallet jacks and a liftgate, so this involves touch freight

• You'll drive late-model Penske trucks built for driver comfort, fitted with inward- and outward-facing cameras

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL, with a U.S. domicile and license in your state of residence

• Current or ability to obtain a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card

• At least 1 year of verified tractor-trailer experience in the past 3 years, or 2 years in the past 5 years

• No more than two moving violations or accidents on your 3-year DMV/MVR record

• Must be able to read and speak English well enough to meet DOT language requirements

• Willing to complete a background check (employment, education, criminal history) and drug screening

• Able to meet the physical demands of the role, including regularly lifting up to 50 lbs and occasionally up to 100 lbs, along with frequent standing, walking, reaching and climbing in and out of the truck and cargo area
