About this job
Our company in Buffalo, NY is looking for newly licensed CDL-A drivers for long-haul, no-touch freight runs. You'll get paid training and consistent weekly miles, with your weekends free for family time.
Pay
- $1,300 to $2,000 per week
- About 1,700 miles per week
Home time
- 5 days on the road, 2 days home (Sunday through Thursday, or Tuesday through Saturday)
What you'll haul
- No-touch freight on long-haul routes
What you'll do
- Run pre-trip and post-trip inspections and get freight delivered on schedule
- Drive a Class A tractor-trailer while building safe driving habits and professional road skills
- Keep accurate logs and trip paperwork
- Stay in touch with dispatch and your driver manager
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- A certificate from a CDL-A truck driving school completed recently, showing at least 120 hours of training
- A clean driving record and a passed background check
- Ability to pass a DOT drug screen, including a hair follicle test
