CDL-A Truck Driver — $27.21–$32.77/hr

This is a CDL-A driving job based in Madera, CA, covering both local and over-the-road routes. You'll move freight in tractor-trailers, mostly refrigerated, and handle the loading and delivery yourself.

Pay

• $27.21 to $32.77 per hour

What you'll do

• Run tractor-trailers on local and OTR assignments, using a manual transmission when needed

• Haul refrigerated freight, and flatbed or tanker loads when you're assigned them

• Load, unload and secure cargo by hand, and confirm shipments at delivery

• Let the company know about any route or delivery problems

• Stay within DOT and FMCSA rules, including hazmat and dangerous goods rules when you carry those loads

Requirements

• Current CDL Class A and the ability to meet the driving and safety standards that apply

• Experience in commercial or delivery driving; auto transport experience is a bonus

• Safe driving habits, route skills and comfort using GPS

• Able to handle freight manually

• Preferred: hazmat, flatbed, tanker and reefer experience, plus knowledge of DOT, FMCSA and dangerous goods rules
