Local CDL-A Driver — Home Daily

Our company is looking for local CDL-A drivers for a dedicated run out of Monroe, Ohio. You will be home every day, running mostly in Ohio with some trips into Indiana and Kentucky.

Pay

• Mileage rate of $0.56 - $0.62 per mile, depending on your experience

• Average weekly pay of $1,200 - $1,500

• Extra pay of $20 per stop, $37 per unload, $20 per backhaul and $25 for pallet restacking

• Recovery mileage pay is available

• Round-the-clock driver support, 24/7

Schedule and home time

• Home daily, usually with two days off a week (weekends off are not guaranteed)

• Start is typically late morning, around 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM

• You need to be open to evenings, weekends, holidays and the week leading up to holidays

• Expect roughly 1,000 - 1,500 miles a week

What you'll haul

• Mix of dry van and refrigerated freight on a dedicated local run

• About 70% of loads are drop and hook; the other 30% you unload yourself with an electric pallet jack

• Typically 3 - 5 loads and 5 - 7 stops a day

• Slip seat day cab tractors

Requirements

• Valid CDL-A

• At least 3 months of solo driving experience

• Live in the Monroe, OH 45044 hiring area

• Willing to haul both dry van and refrigerated freight

• Able to unload with an electric pallet jack
