CDL-A Truck Driver — $25–$30/hr, Local Oilfield Routes

Our company in Carlsbad, NM is looking for a CDL-A driver to run local routes hauling equipment and operating a VAC truck. You'll work with flatbeds, tankers and belly trailers, handling diverse oilfield cargo while keeping safety and compliance front and center.

Pay

• $25.00 to $30.00 per hour

• Expect 45 to 55 hours per week

What you'll haul

• Tractor-trailers including flatbeds, tankers and belly trailers

• Equipment deliveries and VAC truck operation

• Loads requiring manual handling or forklift work, properly secured for transport

What you'll do

• Plan and run local delivery routes using GPS to hit scheduled windows

• Follow FMCSA, DOT and other required safety rules, including hazmat handling where relevant

• Do pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks and report any mechanical issues right away

• Keep accurate hours-of-service logs and cargo paperwork

• Help load and distribute freight so it travels safely and securely

Requirements

• Valid CDL-A with a clean driving record

• Manual transmission experience preferred

• Know-how with tankers, flatbeds and hauling vehicles

• Comfortable with GPS route planning across varied routes

• Solid grasp of FMCSA/DOT rules and hazardous materials safety

• Able to load and unload freight safely, including forklift use when needed

• Strong safety mindset, reliable timing and good customer service
