CDL-A Truck Driver — $2,500–$3,000/Week

This CDL-A driving job at our company covers tractor-trailer runs on both local delivery and over-the-road routes, with trailer type depending on operational needs. Pay is $2,500.00 - $3,000.00 per week.

What you'll do

• Run tractor-trailers, including manual-transmission trucks, on assigned local and OTR routes using GPS

• Handle freight by loading, unloading and securing it, plus manual handling when required

• Check your truck and cargo before and during runs and keep the paperwork current

• Stay within DOT and FMCSA rules, including hazmat and dangerous goods rules where they apply

What you'll haul

• Depending on the assignment: refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers or automobile transport

Requirements

• A valid Class A CDL and the ability to meet driving and safety standards

• Prior truck driving or delivery experience is preferred

• Solid understanding of vehicle inspections and safe loading and unloading

• Hazmat qualifications for assignments that need them; knowing hazmat regulations is preferred

• Experience with reefers, flatbeds, tankers, auto hauling, OTR, GPS or manual transmissions counts in your favor
