CDL-A Truck Driver — $1,750–$2,500/Week

Our company in Passaic, NJ is looking for a CDL-A truck driver to haul a mix of freight types across varied routes. You'll run tractor-trailers, including reefer, flatbed, tanker and other specialized equipment, while keeping deliveries on schedule and in line with safety rules.

Pay

• $1,750.00 - $2,500.00 per week

What you'll haul

• Refrigerated, flatbed, tanker and other specialized trailers

• Possible hazardous materials loads

What the job involves

• Running routes with GPS tools to stay on time

• Pre-trip and post-trip checks on your truck and trailer to catch maintenance or safety problems early

• Staying in touch with dispatch about route changes, delivery timing or anything involving hazardous cargo

• Following FMCSA and DOT rules at all times, including proper handling of hazmat where it applies

• Keeping accurate records of your hours, deliveries and inspections as required by federal law

Requirements

• Valid CDL-A

• Comfortable driving manual transmission trucks on a range of routes

• Able to use GPS for trip planning

• Hazmat knowledge is a plus but not required - training is provided if needed
