CDL-A Truck Driver — $1,750–$2,450/Week

Our company in Carlsbad, NM is looking for a solo company driver to run OTR and regional routes, handling a mix of truck types and heavy equipment.

Pay

• $1,750.00 - $2,450.00 per week

What you'll haul

• You'll be behind the wheel of different rigs depending on the job: tractor-trailers, dump trucks, flatbeds, tankers, and forklifts

• Moving materials and goods between job sites and other locations

• Loading and unloading cargo with the right equipment for the task

What the job involves

• Running pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and flagging any mechanical problems

• Keeping accurate logs of your runs, mileage, and fuel use

• Driving safely and following all traffic laws

• Working within company procedures for hauling and delivery

• Shifts can include nights, weekends, and holidays as needed

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a clean record

• Solid prior experience driving trucks or similar equipment

• Comfortable operating tractor-trailers, dump trucks, flatbeds, tankers, and forklifts

• Experience running heavy equipment is required

• Good grasp of safe driving habits and traffic rules

• Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach

• Capable of working on your own with little oversight

• Physically able to handle long days on the road plus loading and unloading freight
